E Safety

At Belgrave we know the Internet is a fantastic resource for learning, entertainment and communication. Just like in the real world, we need to take a few sensible precautions.

Each year, Years 1 to 6 select 2 digital leaders.  They help support teaching the importance of staying safe online and being responsible ICT users.

This year we celebrated Safer Internet Day on the 11th February 2020.

The theme was together for a better internet, #freetobeme.

Did you know that Safer Internet Day is celebrated in over a hundred countries across the world.

Our digital leaders led an assembly introducing the theme and giving helpful reminders on how to stay safe online.  These are the important messages that were discussed in the assembly.

When we go online, we should make sure that everyone is:

We also want everyone to be:

Its ok to be

we are not all the same.

Throughout school posters are displayed to remind us all what we need to do if something happens we do not like when we are online to keep us all safe and feeling happy.
