Welcome Back

Welcome to the new term and a special welcome to all our new families in Reception and throughout school. It was great to see the children's lovely smiles on Tuesday in assembly. The focus of the first assembly was about "Hopes and Wishes" and ways that we can help ourselves succeed.  This was linked to a range of achievements; including the Athletics World Championships and The Great British Bake Off!

There is a great deal happening this term; as usual, and teachers will be emailing out the class newsletters in the next week or so. The Year Group Expectation Meeting dates were on the last newsletter but just in case anyone has missed some dates reminders will be emailed to all parents.

The first PTA Event is at 7:15 on the 12th September in the School Hall. This is a "Cheese and Wine" and sharing of ideas meeting. The committee will be summarising the past year as it will also be the AGM.

Please come along  we would love to hear your ideas for social events and fundraising.  

One vacancy we have is for a person to create a publicity poster about each event as the child of the parent who kindly did this for us previously has left and moved onto secondary school.
