Reading Challenge Winners Announced today

Amidst much excitement Kate and Martina came in to school today to announce the results of the Reading Challenge.  This year we beat the target of a 100 with a 104 children taking part.

There was a winner from each class who were each presented with a book, certificate and a bookmark. The class that had the highest return of reading logs had read for the most minutes......AND that was Year 4! Their total for minutes read was 27,911 and they were 8,000  minutes ahead of the runners up who were Year 6. Year 4 were presented with 3 trays of hand baked and decorated cup cakes. Each cake had a little book made of icing on the top made by Martina.
