Hinduism Dance Day

Today we have welcomed Prajyoti, who teaches Hindu dance, to Belgrave for workshops in KS2.

Prajyoti taught each class a dance which told a story from the Hindu religion.

The children enjoyed learning hand and feet movements and how to make detailed shapes with their bodies.

At the end of the day Year 5 performed their dance about Ganesh, a Hindu god, to the whole school.

As a final treat, Prajyoti performed a beautiful dance herself!
